    My Entire Multi-YouTube Channel History

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share my an extensive list of all of my channels throughout the years as I always believed that documentation is important and that it would be a nice bit of lore of myself to share that isn’t too private. There are even some channels in here that I haven’t told anyone about. Also, any channels that I deleted are gone, but the videos are not. I tried my best to get as many videos as possible into the archive channel before deleting channels. The only videos I could not recover were my very old Minecraft videos.

    IzzyIs (Fortnite Era)

    My very first channel logo.

My very first YouTube video that was publicly available was my Fortnite era. Since it was pretty much all that I would play at the time, I thought making a YouTube channel was a no-brainer. I wasn’t really that good at the game to be posting crazy clips like that, so I decided to make Fortnite Creative videos instead. I believe the “How to Reach the Secret in the New Hub (2020)” was my most popular video at that time, getting around a couple hundred views. I had never been so happy in my life at that time when I saw that number hit my screen for the first time. I thought I was practically famous. I did stop making Fortnite content after I took a break from the game. However, around a year later I got my PC, and I started making content again.

    IzzyIs (Minecraft Era)

The main profile picture I used for this era of the channel. It was also to match my skin.
The channel’s profile picture after a while.

I started making Minecraft content around 2021. Most of the long-form content I made are now mostly deleted so I don’t have much to show for it. From memory alone, the videos that I was making were Bedwars and Skywars commentary videos on Hypixel, kind of like how Technoblade and Gamerboy80 makes their videos. I also made the occasional comedy Minecraft videos from time to time. Luckily during this time YouTube was rolling out shorts and I made a completely separate channel for shorts specifically.

    IzzyIsnt

Couldn’t find the profile picture I used for this one. However, I do remember it just being the one above but with the colors inverted.

Before it became the archive channel it was first my shorts channel for the main channel. I had posted a lot of shorts and this is where I really got better at editing in my opinion. This is also where you can see I was indeed posting Minecraft content at this time. But this wasn’t the only Minecraft content I was making.

    Bedwars Co.

Bedwars Co. was a Minecraft Keyboard ASMR channel that I made as I didn’t want people knowing that I made that kind of stuff in my main channel. I would record these videos late at night as everyone in my family would be asleep and I would be able to safely make these. I had some fun making these videos because I like the idea of keeping a secretive identity, which will be a recurring theme with these channels. I stopped making these as they were taking away time from the main channel. Besides, it wasn’t like I had that big of an audience, I only had around 4 subscribers from the last time I saw the subscriber count before its deletion.

    Izzy’s Clips

Izzy’s clips was a channel that just held some clips from my main channel and twitch channel. It didn’t last very long as I don’t have any of the clips of it. Unfortunately that also means I have no recollection of when the channel started exactly, but what I do know is that it was around this era.

    Mr. Loop

Mr. Loop was channel dedicated to looping short-form content. I only posted one video, with the other video that I made coming to a halt when I realized I actually did NOT want to do this. It is pretty funny to look back on it as I was still running IzzyIsnt and I could have just made that a series THERE instead of trying to catch a whole new audience with something that was just a short-form gimmick that short-form YouTubers loved doing.

    IzzyIs Music

Couldn’t find the original profile picture inside of my files. Maybe it is somewhere in the internet, but is certainly not with me locally.

IzzyIs Music, as the name implies, was my music channel. No Minecraft music, though now that I think about it that would have been a cool idea. It was digital music that I made in LMMS. I only made one track and never posted to that channel again as I decided that coding and my main channel were more important with my time. I do wish I continued making music instead of continuing with music as I think I could’ve made some decent music if I actually put in more work (and money). Also, you will see later I did refactor a channel to name very similar to this one, but that IzzyIs Music channel is indeed gone.

VAL IzzyIs (Valorant Era) + archived

I wanted to match the vibe of Valorant but still have my own identity with this profile picture.

This is the last of the major gaming eras. This channel had the most success out of all the channels I made throughout my history. Unlike my previous channels, I was actually starting to gain traction in my videos AND short-form content. It was the first time that I had reached over 1,000 subscribers, and I even got monetized at one point (although I never got enough views from then to actually start getting any). What is even funnier is that for the first time ever, I got a REAL company in my business email to do a sponsorship for one of my videos and I DECLINED their offer because I was afraid that the video would flop. How I remember it I would’ve felt terrible if the company didn’t get the results they wanted. In hindsight, I am yelling at my past-self as I genuinely if I would’ve taken that deal my channel would have easily snowballed into a mini-career for me even if I wasn’t making the most money in the world.

Unlike my other channels, I stuck with this channel for over 2 years. I did take some breaks every now and again but nothing major… until I burnt out from Valorant. It was unfortunate that I did this too. Like I said before I believe that I could have actually done something with this channel. It wasn’t helping that Valorant didn’t really have creator tools like other games did, so I just stopped playing. Though I stuck with this channel for over 2 years didn’t mean I only made content for this channel.

    Poppy Dolly

Poppy’s favorite color is green and he likes bubbles.

Poppy Dolly was a voiceless Valorant channel that I made for fun. I remember it gaining traction slowly via the shorts. Like my previous ventures I liked the idea of having a secret identity and even considered this one to be a alternative personality to mine. This actually went so far that I even made him a inside-character that only me and my close friends know about. Like how most of these channels go, I abandoned it because it was taking time away from the main channel.

    IzzyIsExtra

IzzyIsExtra was extra content for viewers that enjoyed my Valorant content but was looking for more variety content. I didn’t upload much on this channel. I felt like YouTube actually shadow-banned my anything I made on here (keep in mind I only posted one short and one long-form). I deleted everything before I had the chance to archive it, but honestly? It was for the better.

    Random Question

Random Question was a short-form edutainment channel that had a similar flow to Zack D Films, except using a whiteboard for drawings instead of 3D art. This was the channel I talked about in the community post that I linked above. This was also gaining some traction every day. Reaching a couple hundred subscribers and getting tens of thousands of views on some of the shorts. I actually like growing this channel a bit and I got my enjoyment out of it. I don’t exactly remember why I stopped uploading videos. I believe that I just wanted to focus on school at this point and just didn’t felt like I couldn’t compete in edutainment field.

I was also going to make a website based on Random Question where that the user could click on a button and one of my videos would pop-up; this would have been sort of like Google’s “I am feeling lucky” type deal.

    StarDroplett

After taking a couple months off of Random Question, I decided to make StarDroplett. StarDroplett was going to be a indie-review channel. You can think of it as like IGN but for indies. There was originally going to be 5 videos posted to the channel, but only one fully made it out of the production. Although I stopped before I even began with this channel I never quite dropped the idea of reviewing games.

    IzzyIsArchive

IzzyIsArchive is one of the few channels that are still up. Because I had so many channels up to this point and most of them were still up (taking up valuable digital space in my account manager) I decided to conduct Project Archive (which led to the creation of this channel). I archived all videos that I could find. All with their original dates, channels, thumbnails, and descriptions. I even put some unlisted videos on there publicly to share. It didn’t take too long thanks to the ease of downloading videos via YouTube studio. I made sure to put them all in a playlist, which you can see if you click on any of the headings’ links. I even posted a handful of videos that I just want to show to the world but not necessarily for views, like a documentary for my grandmother that I made as a film project.

    Miscellaneous Channels

There were a few more channels that I made.

    Skywars FFA!

For the first and only time ever, both the background and logo were not done by me.

This was nothing more than an advertisement channel for one of my UEFN maps that I made around the time I started developing them. I didn’t put much effort into them. I am surprised on how well they did. Doing around as good as they did when I uploaded them to the archive channel.

    QGR

QuickGameReview, or QGR for short, was a gaming review site that I created when I wanted to get into the reviewing games business. This was actually going to be a full fledged business and it seemed like I was going through with this. I had gotten an amazon affiliate account, made social media accounts, got twitter blue for the account, made sure to post all the newest games during the game of the year announcements were dropping and everything.

Obviously I didn’t go through with this. Now almost all the social media accounts that I made are ones I can’t access or are deleted (which would be the case for QGR’s YouTube channel but not TikTok).

The Now and the Complete timeline

Now we are in here. Congratulations on getting it this far. It has been a long journey. There are the last 2 channels I want to talk about.

The first is what I mentioned earlier when I said that I refactored a channel. Because there was a brief period of time that I wanted to do music again, I decided to convert VAL IzzyIs into my music channel called IzzyIsMusic. In hindsight I slightly regret doing it because now if I wanna upload anything it would get in the way of my music and the other way around.

The second is my newest channel, New IzzyIs. I am hesitant on making videos on it because that means I am rebuilding an audience over ten times now, I am tired of doing that. So even though it is made, I haven’t actually done anything with it yet. It is nice to know it exist as it links to both the original and archive channel (making these 3 channels the last ones standing).

  • The State of Mobile Gaming

    The State of Mobile Gaming

Mobile gaming, to me, is one of the most underrated gaming markets. I have talked to my friends about it and they all have their own opinions. Specifically, I was arguing that mobile gaming was better than console gaming. I knew what I said was a hot take because there is a lot of factors that depend on what YOU think is better. I’ll be giving my opinion on the market, along side the pros and cons of both mobile gaming, while in the end discussing if you should mobile or console game (though I think we can all agree that PC gaming is better than both).

My Opinion of the Mobile Market

Currently the mobile market, in my opinion, is in a fantastic state so far. From free-to-play titles to premium titles to emulators. There is a little something for everyone. I have personally played on emulators on my Android as that gives me the best experience and the most fun. I have played some premium titles like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and handful of Kariosoft titles. I have also played plenty of free-to-play titles as well. Some don’t exist, like dicey dungeons, but some I enjoy even to this day, like Pokémon Go.

    The Pros of Mobile Gaming

I believe that mobile gaming gets a lot of flak because of ADs, heavy monetization, and plausibly unethical + addictive methods. The heavy criticism is warranted though, I hate these things as much as the next guy, but I feel like most people are a little too harsh when it comes to criticism. Personally I see why studios integrate ads inside of their games if there game is going to be free. How else are they gonna make money? One specific thing I want to say is that mobile actually has it better when it comes to purchasing games on their platform. It is usually significantly cheaper, with what I assume the reason being is because mobile is just an inferior platform compared to its older brothers. As a matter of fact, most things when it comes to mobile is cheaper or better value for what you are getting. Phone cases, mobile controllers, storage, etc. There are some other things that make mobile great too:

    • Value
      • Like I said before, value is pretty much everywhere in mobile. You can play on the platform for particularly forever. As long as you avoid the hungry free-to-play titles, don’t mind paying a premium, and don’t mind tinkering a little bit you can get insane value on just that mini computer that fits in your pocket.
    • Accessibility
      • In my opinion, I believe that out of the 3 main controller schemes (touch, kb&m, and controller) that mobile actually takes the cake for being the most accessible. This is especially true if you have a tablet rather than a phone as you can have much more control with the ladder of the 2 and can have a more complex control scheme with the former.
    • Portability
      • Most people take their phone wherever they go. Because of this it is the quickest to get into and out of when compared to almost anything that can play a game. Unlike something like a switch, your phone actually fits in your pocket. Also unlike something like a DS or PSP, you will be playing games of higher quality, have more in-game content available, and a better variety of games to select (with the downside of having no actual controller).

    The Cons of Mobile Gaming

I’ll admit that mobile gaming does have its pitfalls. Until recently, mobile game controllers kind had 2 looks to them: a controller with a grip to hold onto your phone OR a controller that looks something like this:

    Source: Razer

Despite portability being a pro it can become meaningless once you start having to carry this thing around. It actually makes it just as big as the switch depending on your phone. If you DO use the controller (from the image) there are multiple issues that could occur. Like your speakers, the screen imbalanced because of the back cameras, it blocks the USB port, and just makes using your phone whenever something DOES pop up a pain. There are also some other cons to mobile gaming that aren’t just the controller:

    • Physical Media
      • Because everything on your phone is digital-only, unless your phone has a SD card or you take out the storage from your device you essentially have no physical media. For someone like me this isn’t a problem. But one of my friends LOVES collecting physical and will go out of his way to make sure gets the physical edition of a game he loves, so to him this is a massive lost.
    • Quality
      • Originally I was going to put this in the “pro” section. But then I realized that you are just more likely to find ass mobile games out than quality ones since mobile game markets are more about revenue than any other platform. The quality of games, mainly free-to-play, is VERY divided and you will almost never escape ADs in your experience.
    • Performance
      • This actually goes both ways. Most developers who make games for mobile always makes it graphically low in order to get the most players. This in turn means a worse graphically appealing game. If you have a higher-end phone, like I do, some games will still never look good just because how much power they need. This is why cloud gaming may be becoming more and more appealing to mobile users.
    • Game variety
      • Many games that are on PC and consoles are simply not on mobile. Which is a shame. There are a plenty reasons on why, but I won’t get into them here.

Mobile Vs Console: Which is Better?

Well… it really depends on who you are. If you are someone who focuses on portability, don’t mind tinkering with your phone, don’t mind putting some effort into finding some games, and/or looking for more affordable options, than I would say mobile gaming is for you.

If you like more hit and known franchises, quality, like collecting physical media, graphics, and even some content creation, than console gaming may fit your needs.

  • My opinion and insights on the current landscape of YouTube

My opinion and insights on the current landscape of YouTube

Hello everyone, happy Halloween! Today I want to talk about the current landscape of YouTube and what I noticed throughout this year.

    Relationship Vs. Idea YouTubers

Let’s first start off with this amazing YouTube video that Mumbo Jumbo made that was actually the motivator for why I am making this blog post. In the video, he stated there were generally two types of YouTubers: relationship and idea. Relationship YouTubers are YouTubers like CoryxKenshin, Markiplier, Emma Chamberlain, etc. YouTubers that get their views from fan retention and relationship building, meaning that regardless of what they upload they will get views. This is why I believe that some channels, despite having what many describe as “bad thumbnails” still get lots of traction compared to a creative sketch. Idea YouTubers are channels like MrBeast, 5 Minute Crafts, My Story Animated, The Infographics Show, etc. YouTubers who channels are focused on making high quality content and go with watchable ideas to get their views. This is on a spectrum, so you could be more in the middle (like him) or you could be more towards relationship YouTubers (like myself). I believe age and internet browsing plays a big role in this. My observation is that the younger someone, the more likely they are gonna be more towards relationship YouTubers. I believe the age is around 15-44 is where most relationship YouTubers will have in their audience. Mumbo Jumbo believes that it is just more a shift throughout the years and that relationship YouTubers are becoming less and less frequent with streaming taking over. Although mainly focused on the Minecraft side of YouTube, I highly recommend checking out Mumbo’s video, as I thought it was the best way to currently explain that side of YouTube.

    Private Equity

I want to dive deeper into this topic. I have personally observed that a lot of YouTubers are becoming a brand rather than a group or individual. A lot of channels (and this is especially the case for idea YouTubers) are or have been bought by private equity with a lot of them not even telling their audience until it is too late. Now depending on the channel this could be a good or bad thing. Game theory is an example of a channel improving after being bought by private equity. Editing improved, more staff were able to get on board, being able to upload with a consistent schedule, and more. An example of a channel decreasing in quality would be Economics Explained, where apparently their research quality and videos in generally are becoming poor. I believe this is the reason why we see YouTubers taking sponsors they wouldn’t really take otherwise and making content that may see out of their field, it is because they HAVE to. They have to make the company that bought them happy to an extent. At that point, the channels become less of “You” and more of TV. Of course there are channels that make content and are NOT owned by private equity. Personally, I believe a lot of relationship YouTubers have the highest chance of not being owned by private equity. This also leads to my next topic.

    “IP” expansion

Relationship YouTubers are now trying to become MORE than just YouTubers. I have been seeing this a lot and has almost been going on since the more modern era of YouTube. Whether it is games, web comics, animated shows, movies, or music, we have been seeing YouTubers explore other areas that don’t directly involve the typical content creation process. We have been seeing it with Vtubers, the early adopters, and really anyone who has a very large audience. I believe this is great and what almost all YouTubers should be thinking about as it tells people that you are more than just a “character”, even if they don’t think that way. This is essentially, for how I see it, expanding their IP; the IP being themselves.

    Being a YouTuber

Lastly I just wanted to talk about how risky and lucky you have to be in order to be a YOUTUBER (not a streamer). I have personal experience with making content for my own variety of channels for well over 3 years now. Here is what I have to say about just being a YouTuber.

    Being a idea YouTuber

Personally, being an idea YouTuber is fun, at least it was for me. Coming up with video ideas, trying to see which would work and what would not, it was all a lot more fun to me. This is also where people usually say “being a YouTuber is not luck” and “anyone can be a YouTuber”. While being an idea YouTuber is less about luck, it does pose some risks. For one, if your idea wasn’t good and your video flops: you won’t be getting paid good money, sponsors will be more hesitant, it takes a toll on you mentally, and YouTube hates when you publish a bad video, making experimenting harder. But at the end of the day you are way more likely to get sponsors and just get more views quickly than your counterpart. Speaking about your counterpart, let’s talk about being a relationship YouTuber.

    Being a relationship YouTuber

I do know a lot of people wanna be more of a relationship YouTuber, which make sense. Most people grew up with let’s players and people behind a camera, playing the latest and trendiest game on the market. Plus they get to build a community, who wouldn’t wanna be that? However that landscape has been deserted and oversaturated.

Being a relationship YouTuber NOW is almost near impossible. People have done it, of course, but trying to become STRICTLY a relationship YouTuber is really hard because the videos you make are either too engaging or not engaging enough. This is why, unless they have been in the game for years, you are more than likely gonna see relationship “YouTubers” come from streaming platforms with using short-form content to promote their streams. Once those streamers get popular enough they make their own YouTube channel and grow from there. The traditional way of growing, aka “just keep making good videos” isn’t advice I would give someone if they are trying to go the relationship YouTuber route. Most YouTubers are either a mixture of both, or more leaning towards an idea YouTuber. There are also just cons to being a relationship YouTuber: if you get into controversy your channel could essentially be over, people might grow out of the content you make which would decrease the amount of views you get, the longer you are absent the higher risk you pose from losing a lot of viewers, and if you were to unfortunately pass away no one would be able to run the channel or make a spin-off.

    Conclusion

I hope everyone learned something new today. The YouTube landscape is changing, whether for better or for worse. Personally, I mostly like the direction it is heading. I know a lot of people on the internet do not and that is understandable. I haven’t even talked about the rise of AI and how that is affecting some people YouTube shorts feed. Neither have I talked about streaming on YouTube vs Twitch. Reminder that this is just the English-speaking side of YouTube. Other languages are definitely getting affected by this too, but because I don’t speak those languages I would never know.

  • Life before college

    Life before college

(Originally posted on September 15th, 2025) Did you know that in high school I actually wanted to go into psychology instead of computer science? The reason why was because I was interested in the human mind and the kind of things that go on inside of it. I only really had this interest for a couple of months so deciding that I wanted to spend the next 4 years doing it was superficial of me to think.

One day, I was at my grandmother’s house and one of my older cousins was talking about my major and what school I wanted to go to. When my cousin heard what major I was going she was warning me that I have to make sure that it is something that I truly wanted to do. You see, I wanted to be a therapist when I got that psychology degree. My cousin also had the same thought process, unfortunately for her she was never able to become a therapist and instead become a teacher towards students with special needs. Now she loved her class, however she told me that it isn’t for the weak as the students were VERY hard on her. This made me reconsider my choice for psychology as a major, and I was actually thinking that computer science would be a better fit for me. In the end, I ended up switching to computer science. I was way more interested in computers anyways so I knew I would not only have a better time there, but also would be a better fit.

I actually regret a little bit for not choosing computer science sooner. I think I missed out on a scholarship from my college because I switched too late. If I am gonna be honest, I regret going to college sometimes as well. I personally felt like if I went to a community college (to skip gen ed classes and save money) or a trade school (get a profession + job early and get to my desired profession with a job easier) first it would have been a much better decision. Technically I can still do a trade school since I am only a sophomore in college, but I don’t want any trouble from my parents. I also could’ve applied to more scholarships from my school a bit sooner as well because most of them were for freshman. I regret not applying for more, even if I thought they were a waste of my time. They could have came in real handy when it was time to, say, study abroad, or just save some money on tuition.

  • Moved to WordPress

    Moved to WordPress

Hello everyone. I have recently moved my blog site from Notion to WordPress as I believe it will greatly improving the overall blogging quality and will allow me more control over my blogs and website. I will be moving any posts from there to here, and just for verification purposes I will be leaving the original notion site here.
